ROSHYOGA WELCOMES YOU

About ROSHYOGA

Passion for Yoga

I embarked on my yoga journey in 1998, seeking solace and relief from the challenges posed by PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) marking the beginning of my profound journey towards self-discovery and resilience.

Struggling with the debilitating effects of PMDD, I turned to yoga and meditation as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of constant anxiety and overwhelming depression, particularly during my menstrual cycles. Through diligent practice and unwavering dedication, yoga became not just a form of physical exercise, but my sanctuary where I found solace and strength to navigate life's challenges.

As I ascended the ranks in the corporate world, I found myself increasingly drawn to the healing embrace of yoga and the soothing embrace of nature, whether it was strolling along sun-kissed beaches or immersing myself in the tranquillity of nature walks. These practices became my lifeline, my anchor amidst the tumultuous seas of everyday life.

Being menopausal has also deepened my experience with yoga and the ocean, which have become my constant lifelines. Amidst the transformative phases of menopause, yoga and the vast expanse of the ocean have provided solace, strength, and a profound sense of connection. These elements have become not only sources of physical rejuvenation but also anchors of emotional and spiritual resilience, guiding me through the ebb and flow of life's ever-changing tides.

Driven by a deep desire to share the transformative power of yoga with others, I embarked on the path of becoming a yoga teacher. This decision was not only a turning point in my own personal journey but also a profound commitment to serving others on their paths to healing and self-discovery. This pivotal decision heralded not merely a career choice but a sacred calling—a calling to extend the hand of healing and guidance to fellow travellers on the path of self-discovery. Guided by the wisdom of spiritual luminaries such as Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, as well as revered Hindu deities including Lord Ganesha, Lord Krishna, Lord Rama, Mother Lakshmi, Mother Saraswati and Mother Durga, my journey has been enriched by their divine grace and teachings.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside those who have invited me into their lives, and my life's mission is to embody these teachings and support others on their unique paths of growth and transformation. With my heart overflowing with gratitude and love, I remain committed to spreading light and healing wherever my journey may lead.
